The Offel Wealth Management Group uses a systematic investment consulting process to determine the plan needed to keep you on track for reaching your goals. This process has been designed to assist us in the following ways:
  1. Understanding your true financial goals
  2. Helping to create the best possible plan for achieving those goals
  3. Keeping us on track at each step of the process
This wealth management consulting process is based on a series of five meetings:

The Discovery Meeting

At our initial meeting, we will conduct a discovery interview. This will identify the obstacles you face in achieving your financial goals. We will look at where you are, where you want to go and how we can help increase the possibility of getting you there.

What to bring

  • Last two years’ tax returns
  • Current bank, investment, brokerage and retirement plan statements
  • Current life insurance policies
  • Any wills or trusts
  • Any other documents that would help us fully understand your financial situation
  • An accounting of monthly household expenses

The Investment Plan Meeting

At this meeting, we will present a complete diagnosis of your current situation and recommendations for how we can help you reach your goals. This plan is the foundation for all our work together.

Since we are interested in forging a lifelong relationship, we encourage you to take the time necessary to be completely comfortable with the plan prior to taking the next step.

The Mutual Commitment Meeting

At this point, the time has come for us to make a mutual decision about working together. Should we decide to proceed, we will commit to working together to try to achieve your goals. Together, we will execute the documents necessary to put your investment plan in motion.

What to bring

  • Any questions or concerns you have regarding your investment plan

The Wealth Management Team Review Meeting

After we have begun working with you, we will bring in our team of wealth management professionals to prioritize the next steps. The result of this meeting will be a comprehensive wealth management plan that will help us address your financial challenges in order of priority and potential for positive impact.

The 45-Day Follow-up Meeting

When you have multiple investment accounts, it is easy to become overwhelmed with the amount of paperwork you receive. At this meeting, we will help you organize all that paperwork in a notebook that we provide. We will also answer any questions you may have, so you understand exactly what is happening with your money.

What to bring

  • All the new account paperwork that you will receive in the mail
  • Any questions you may have regarding the execution of your investment plan

Regular Progress Meetings

These meetings, which we will schedule at intervals convenient to you, give us an opportunity to review any major changes in your personal or financial life since our last meeting. If these changes require us to adjust your investment plan, we will do so. We will also review your overall progress toward your long-term financial goals.

What to bring

  • Any questions you may have about your progress
